Role Description The CAD Trainer role at Cad Desk - India is a full-time, on-site position based in Vilavankod. The trainer will deliver classroom and lab-based instruction on CAD software and related concepts, ensuring learners understand both theory and practical application. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing training materials, demonstrating software workflows, guiding learners through projects, and providing individualized support and feedback. The CAD Trainer will also assess learner performance through assignments and tests, update course content to align with current industry practices, and collaborate with the training team to improve program quality. Participation in student counseling, batch scheduling, and occasional workshops or seminars may also be required.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Programming relevant to CAD tools and engineering workflows.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, feedback, and learner engagement.
- Candidates should possess experience or ability in Teaching and Curriculum Development, including creating structured lesson plans and training materials.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and practical design or engineering project experience.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Ability to manage classrooms, support diverse learning styles, and maintain an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to meet training schedules and deadlines.
- Prior experience as a trainer or educator in CAD or technical subjects is preferred but not mandatory.
