CAD technician - Lighting

Prepare and revise electrical schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams, street light drawings

and layout drawings in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and

incorporate their feedback into design revisions.

- Ensure accuracy and maintain organised documentation of all drawings and design

changes.

- Assist in coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of

electrical components within broader project designs.

- Conduct quality checks on drawings and designs to verify adherence to company and

regulatory standards.

- Provide support for project management tasks, including timelines, resource

allocation, and stakeholder communication.

Associate's degree/Diploma in Drafting, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a related

field, or equivalent experience.

- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation or related CAD tools

specifically for electrical applications.

- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and practices relevant to design and

drafting.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly.

Mandatory Skills

AutoCAD, Microstation, Electrical Drawing.
