Job Title : CAD Engineer Design and Engineering
Job Location : Bangalore, Karnataka
Reports to : Technical Lead
Key Skills: AUTO CAD Drafting
Key Job Responsibility
The role is to be responsible for preparation of AUTO CAD Drafting design related activities for bid preparation and detailed engineering stage. submission drawing/Doc and other collateral support to Project Team, customers during Project Execution phase, preparation of detailed Engineering documentation
along with initial project drawings.
Key Accountabilities
- Single point responsibility for Ground and roof mounted solar systems by doing system design[minimum Drafting Level], arriving at layouts, Bill of material[BOM] and SLDs as a part of submission to customer in coordination with Business development Lead / Engineering Lead / Project Lead.
- Creating Accurate CAD drawings from available input data and updating project drawing list in line as per Project deliverables.
- Systematic saving of CAD drawings, keeping server organized and updating projects folders with revisions with version control of drawings.
- Following standard Drawing templates for each type of customer and region as per.
- Seeking clarity from Engineering manager & project managers when you are not 100% certain on data provided.
- Reviewing and checking drawings for errors, before being sent to any internal or external customers.
- Responsible for on time preparation of necessary drawings for bid Support and Detailed Engineering Support for projects.
Requirements
Qualification and Requirements:
- Education : Diploma/B.E., - Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical / Civil Engineering
- Experience : 23 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, preferably in the solar industry, with exposure to commercial solar PV project design.
- Knowledge and working experience(High Proficiency) with AutoCAD[2D & 3D] and SketchUp for preparing PV layouts, SLDs, and detailed engineering drawings
- Knowledge and Design awareness with simulation software such as Pvsyst, Arka 360, Helioscope and PV-Sol will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills written and spoken English / Hindi / Kannada
