Job Description CAD Engineer / Draftsman
Position: CAD Engineer / Draftsman - structure
Location: Thane (Mumbai) and Bangalore (Central)
Experience: 8-10 years
Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering
Mandatory Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience with Tekla is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of RCC detailing and BBS preparation.
Knowledge of steel structure detailing and drafting standards.
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled CAD Engineer/Draftsman to join our structural design team in Bangalore (Central). The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Civil Engineering and 714 years of experience in preparing detailed structural drawings. This role involves working closely with structural engineers to produce accurate and comprehensive drawings for large-scale EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), structural detail drawings, and Good For Construction (GFC) drawings.
Create detailed RCC drawings, including bar bending schedules (BBS).
Perform steel detailing for structural components.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
Coordinate with structural engineers and other design team members to incorporate design inputs.
Maintain drawing documentation and revisions accurately.
