CAD Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer to support the design and drafting of electronic security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Fire Alarm systems. The candidate should have excellent AutoCAD proficiency, an understanding of security systems, and the ability to convert engineering inputs into high- quality technical drawings. Strong communication, adaptability, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D layout drawings, schematics, and elevations for CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm, fire alarm, and other electronic security systems.

• Create device placement plans, cable routing diagrams, rack layouts, and field-of-view plans.

• Work closely with Technical and system engineers to translate design concepts into accurate drawings.

• Interpret architectural, ID, and electrical drawings to integrate security systems properly.

• Update drawings based on client feedback, site mark-ups, and revisions.

• Ensure all designs are in compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and internal QA protocols.

• Support the preparation of Position drawings and BOQs as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Engineering Degree in any discipline.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D knowledge is a plus).

• Knowledge of electronic security systems: CCTV, access control, intercom, alarm, etc. is plus

• Ability to read and understand floor plans, schematics, device schedules, and technical documentation.

• Comfortable working with multiple projects and tight timelines.
