About RentoMojo
RentoMojo is a subscription-based furniture and appliance rental platform operating across 22+ cities in
India. As we scale our warehouse network, the Capex team owns the design and build-out of new and
expanded fulfilment centres. This role sits at the front of that process — turning a raw space into an
executable layout.
Role
Own the end-to-end drawing lifecycle for warehouse setups — 2D layouts and 3D visualisations — from
site survey to implementation-ready plans. You'll be the single point of accountability for design accuracy
and for driving changes through to final sign-off.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D warehouse drawings — racking, mezzanine, storage zones, office areas,
movement paths, and utilities.
- Travel to warehouse sites to physically survey spaces, capture accurate measurements, and validate
constraints against on-ground reality.
- Translate ops requirements (storage capacity, SKU mix, material flow) into optimised, buildable
layouts.
- Lead and manage frequent design iterations — track versions, incorporate feedback from ops, capex,
and vendors, and keep drawings current through the build.
- Produce implementation-ready drawings that vendors and the program manager can execute against
directly.
- Coordinate with the program manager and vendors during execution to resolve on-site design queries.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on CAD experience, preferably in warehouse, industrial, retail, or fit-out projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and a 3D tool (SketchUp / 3ds Max / Revit or equivalent).
- Ability to read a physical site and independently produce an accurate, buildable layout.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and site visits.
- Detail-oriented, organised with versions, and responsive to fast-moving changes.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to material handling / storage systems (selective racking, mezzanines).
- Basic understanding of electrical and civil layout conventions.
