Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer / Drafter to support our Oil & Gas engineering team. This role involves creating, updating, and maintaining technical drawings, with a strong focus on large-scale plant drawing updates and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD, a solid understanding of engineering drawings, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce accurate 2D CAD drawings based on engineering specifications
  • Create and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Interpret and convert conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings
  • Maintain and revise existing plant drawings as part of large-scale update projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and project management
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines
  • Manage multiple tasks and deliverables concurrently while meeting deadlines
  • Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Oil & Gas or process industries
  • Hands-on experience with P&ID design and standards
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards
