Role Description

This is a freelance, remote role for a CAD Design Engineer. The CAD Design Engineer will be responsible for developing engineering drawings, creating and refining design specifications, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop detailed designs. The role also includes tasks related to mechanical engineering and product design, ensuring that designs appropriately meet technical requirements and project objectives. Communication and collaboration with team members will be key to project success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Engineering Drawings and strong understanding of design specifications
• Skills in Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
• Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and techniques
• Experience in Product Design, with focus on functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to work independently and deliver results in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with iterative design processes and knowledge of industry standards is a plus
