CAD Design Engineer

Qualification: B.E. Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the reporting requirements and provide valuable advice
• Continuous optimization and automation of reporting, further development of reporting tools, active management of the reporting portfolio
• Creation of assigned reports in time and quality
• Collaboration with international teams

Requirements:

• CAD Design of Electrical & Electronics Components.
• Release/Change management, Engineering Documentation.

Must Have:

• Good hands on experience in CATIA module like Part Design, Surfacing, Assembly design, SMD.
• Knowledge in CAD design of E&E Components (e.g. Switch, ECU, Instrument Cluster).
• Knowledge of product development cycle.
• Strong knowledge in Plastic components Tooling and Manufacturing Methods.
• Experience on 2D drawing creation.
• Knowledge of homologations standards related to E&E system.
• Manage and coordinate activities with - cross functional team and suppliers for serial changes and within projects.
• Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, presentation skills and team player.
• Flexibility for international travel (e.g., 3 months).

Good to have:

• VBA / CATIA macro / Programming.
• Knowledge of switch design, design validation plan preparation of E&E Components, design quality process.
• Exposure to DFMEA, Design guidelines, DFA, DFM, DFS.
• Knowledge of GD & T, Regulatory compliance knowledge (e.g. RoHS).
