Your Job

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented CAD Engineer to support global product development initiatives by delivering high-quality design solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to create, modify, and optimize CAD models and drawings that bring innovative products to market efficiently.

Our Team

You will be part of the Global Engineering Services (GES) CAD team based in Bangalore, a corporate shared services group supporting Molex's global product design teams. The team partners closely with engineers across divisions to provide end-to-end CAD support throughout the Product Development Process (PDP), ensuring engineering excellence and efficiency.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with global product engineering teams to deliver high-quality 3D models, 2D drawings, and design concepts
  • Enable faster product development by supporting CAD design modifications and improvements across multiple projects
  • Drive consistency and quality in engineering documentation, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and timelines
  • Contribute to CAD data migration and transformation projects, improving digital engineering workflows
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate Voice of Customer (VOC) into precise design outputs
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance design efficiency and CAD processes
  • Actively participate in cross-functional discussions, bringing insights to improve product design and engineering outcomes

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in product design or CAD engineering
  • Strong expertise in NX CAD tool for 3D modeling and 2D drafting
  • Hands-on experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter or ECTR
  • Good knowledge of GD&T principles and engineering drawing standards

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Advanced NX skills such as parametric modeling, part families, and reference sets
  • Experience in sheet metal design, reverse engineering, and data migration projects
  • Exposure to global product development environments and cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with structured problem-solving tools such as 8D and Fishbone analysis
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively
