The Role

We are seeking a Technical Cabinet Designer who lives at the intersection of design and engineering.

You won't just be drawing cabinets; you will be developing the digital DNA of our products. You will take conceptual inputs from interior designers and translate them into millimeter-perfect CAM models, ready for CNC production.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Production-Ready Modeling:

• Develop full-scale 3D CAM models for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and storage units using Infurnia (preferred) or equivalent platforms.
  

DFM (Design for Manufacturing):

• Audit designer inputs for structural viability, ensuring joinery (cam-and-post, dowels, or confirmat) is optimized for both strength and assembly speed.
  

Material & Hardware Strategy:

• Map out raw material requirements (BWP Plywood, MDF, HDHMR) based on moisture exposure and load-bearing needs.
  
• Integrate complex hardware systems (Blum, Hettich, Hafele) including tandem boxes, lift-ups, and corner solutions into the technical drawings.
  

Output Management

• Generate automated Cutlists, BOMs, and Nesting patterns. You must account for edge-banding thickness (0.8mm to 2mm) and blade kerf in your final tolerances.
  

QC & Prototyping

• Collaborate with the Sultanpur factory team to troubleshoot manufacturing hurdles and refine standard cabinet carcasses for better scalability.
  
  

Requirements

· Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Infurnia is a significant advantage. Candidates with deep experience in IMOS, B-Cabinet, Spazio, or Winner will also be prioritized.

· Industry Literacy: 3+ years of experience in a factory-integrated modular environment. You must understand how a CNC beam saw or nesting machine reads your data.

· Detail Orientation: You must be obsessed with tolerance. You understand that a 1mm error in a cut list translates to a failed installation at the site.

· Joinery Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of panel-based construction, including carcass assembly, back-panel grooving, and gable-to-skirting transitions
