CA/Mcom with TM1

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and support IBM Planning Analytics / Cognos TM1 applications for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Design and maintain TM1 cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, rules, and feeders to meet business planning requirements.

Build and optimize data integrations using TM1 processes (TurboIntegrator) to load, validate, and reconcile financial data.

Partner with finance teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver user-friendly planning models.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes to ensure high availability and data accuracy.

Improve model performance through tuning, best practices, and proactive monitoring of TM1 workloads.

Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and user guides for planning solutions.

Support UAT cycles, release deployments, and post-release validations to ensure stable and reliable delivery. Minimum Qualifications:

MCom or CA qualification with 3â€5 years of overall experience in finance/analytics/technology roles.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics / Cognos TM1.

Strong understanding of financial planning concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

Experience building or supporting TM1 objects (cubes, dimensions, rules, feeders, and TI processes).

Ability to work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Experience designing end-to-end planning solutions including model design, security, data integration, and reporting layers.

Exposure to Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) for building dashboards, books, and interactive planning experiences.

Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to optimize TM1 performance and improve planning cycle efficiency.

Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of best practices for model governance, version control, and release management in planning systems. Good to have skills: Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), TurboIntegrator (TI) scripting, TM1 rules & feeders optimization, MDX, SQL
