Role : UI/UX Designer
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to lead the design of the next generation of the Pipeline Control Tower (PCT), Companys enterprise analytics platform supporting project, portfolio and leadership decision-making across R&D.
This role is pure design, not BI development.
You will work closely with product management and engineering (Power BI / React) to translate business needs into intuitive, scalable, and user-centred interface designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of new PCT features (PM and LT personas, filters, bookmarks, navigation, dashboards).
- Produce high-fidelity Figma designs, interaction flows, prototypes, and component libraries.
- Work with Product Owner to refine requirements and turn them into clear design specs for developers.
- Build and maintain a design system for PCT (including layout, colour, typography, controls, and reusable components).
- Conduct user walkthroughs, usability tests and iterate based on feedback.
- Ensure consistency, accessibility, clarity, and high visual standards across all PCT pages.
- Collaborate with Power BI and React developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years UI/UX design experience, ideally in analytics platforms or enterprise applications.
- Expert in Figma (components, auto-layout, responsive design, prototyping).
- Experience with Lovable or similar AI-assisted design tools is a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating clean interfaces, structured layouts, and data-heavy designs.
- Ability to transform complex requirements into elegant and intuitive experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams (PMs, engineers, semantic layer/data teams).
- Understanding of dashboards, filtering logic, navigation patterns, and information hierarchy.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience designing for Power BI or React-based front ends (not required to code).
- Familiarity with scientific/R&D or pharmaceutical domain.
- Experience creating design systems from scratch.
