Key Responsibilities:

• Perform user creation and deletion on Linux systems.
• Manage logical volumes by creating and deleting volumes using LVM.
• Install and configure mail transfer agents such as Sendmail and Postfix.
• Configure DNS and Name Servers for network resolution.
• Set up and manage time synchronization services using NTP/Chrony.
• Execute reboot operations for both virtual and physical servers.
• Implement IP-Swap configurations for server migration projects.
• Install and upgrade OS/firmware on Bare Metal servers.
• Utilize ILO Console for managing physical servers.
• Work with and modify the Sudoers file for privilege management.
• Manage relay servers for email routing.
• Configure and use YUM repositories for package management.
• Perform RPM installations and updates.
• Install, upgrade, and configure ESXi hosts.
• Create and delete Virtual Machines (VMs) running RHEL versions 5, 6, 7, and 8.
• Establish DRS clusters for hosts and datastores.
• Execute vMotion for live migration of VMs.
• Upgrade operating systems on VM servers.
• Perform VM version/compatibility upgrades, hot-plug enhancements, and enable relevant features.
• Adjust VM resources (increasing/decreasing CPU, memory, etc.).
• Create and delete Anti-Affinity Rules for VM placement.
• Create and delete Datastores within the VMware environment.
• Conduct comprehensive troubleshooting of issues on Linux servers, including disk, resource, offline, and latency problems.
