C++ / Teamcenter Software Engineer

We are currently hiring for an experienced C++ / Teamcenter Software Engineer with minimum 3 years of software development experience to design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions using C++ and Siemens Teamcenter for one of our client in Pune.

The role focuses on building and customizing Teamcenter-based enterprise applications, developing robust C++ solutions, integrating PLM capabilities, and working closely with engineering and business teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.

This role is suited to a hands-on software engineer who has practical experience in C++ development and exposure to Teamcenter product development or customization. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment, learning new technologies, and taking ownership of delivering quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Teamcenter PLM solutions using C++.
• Develop robust and maintainable software components using C++.
• Work on Teamcenter product development and customization based on business and engineering requirements.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Customize Teamcenter functionality to support enterprise engineering and product lifecycle processes.
• Develop, debug, test, and optimize C++ applications and Teamcenter customizations.
• Work closely with functional consultants, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective root-cause analysis and resolutions.
• Follow established software development standards, coding guidelines, and engineering best practices.
• Ensure developed solutions meet functional, performance, maintainability, and quality requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Work within Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, development, testing, and retrospectives.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and Teamcenter capabilities to solve business problems.
• Take ownership of assigned development activities and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  
  

Required Skills / Primary Skills

• Min 3 years of professional software development experience using C++.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of C++ programming.
• Practical experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
• At least 1 year of experience in Teamcenter product development or customization.
• Understanding of enterprise software development principles and best practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into working solutions.
• Strong focus on code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience, technical capability, Teamcenter expertise, and interview performance.

Candidates with approximately 5 years of relevant experience can be considered up to 25 Lakhs for exceptionally strong profiles.

Candidates with approximately 8 years of experience can be considered in the range of 35–40 Lakhs for exceptionally strong profiles.

For exceptional candidates, compensation can be decided based on technical expertise, relevant experience, interview performance, and overall fit.
