About the role

As a C# .Net Backend Developer, you'll design and build backend systems with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability. You'll implement best practices to deliver high-quality, performant solutions; write and maintain efficient, reusable code; monitor delivery to ensure solutions meet business requirements and agreed timescales; proactively mentor and support teammates; identify and resolve bottlenecks and defects; and produce clear documentation to aid knowledge transfer.

• Design new features and systems emphasizing scalability, security, and reliability
• Implement best practices to deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions
• Write and maintain efficient, reusable, robust code in .NET/C#
• Monitor progress and outputs so solutions meet business requirements and are delivered within agreed timescales
• Proactively mentor and support team members
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and issues, and devise effective solutions
• Write supporting documentation to enable knowledge transfer
  

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer (C#/.NET)
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD): 2+ years commercial experience
• Clean Architecture or Onion Architecture experience
• .NET Core proficiency
• C# expertise
• Entity Framework Core 6+ experience
• CQRS implementation experience
  

• Mediator pattern/library experience
• SQL Server
• Swagger (API documentation)
• SpecFlow (BDD)
• Azure DevOps
• Automated testing (TDD / BDD)
• LINQ strong proficiency
• Angular 12+
• Active Record pattern
• Microservices architecture
• Integration with SAP Business ByDesign API
• Azure Functions
• Azure Message Queues
• Azure API Management (Gateway)
• Azure Key Vault
• Payment provider integration
• Shipping provider integration
