Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain C-based software modules for telecom network applications.
- Work on protocol stack development, call processing, or network management systems.
- Optimize existing code for performance, scalability, and reliability in real-time systems.
- Integrate and test telecom protocols such as SIP, SS7, Diameter, LTE, 5G, or VoIP components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including testing, system architects, and product managers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in embedded or distributed systems.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in C programming (and C++ if applicable).
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and multi-threaded programming.
- Solid understanding of Telecom domain concepts signaling protocols, call flows, bearer management, etc.
- Hands-on experience with one or more protocols: SIP, RTP, SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter, VoIP, LTE, or 5G Core.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, UDP, sockets programming).
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, GDB, Valgrind, and version control systems (Git).
- Exposure to real-time systems or embedded development is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Experience in Agile development methodology.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation or testing.
