Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced C/C++ Developer to support the migration and enhancement of an existing application currently deployed on Aquilon 6 to Aquilon 7. This role involves resolving library compatibility issues, handling byte-order (endianness) concerns, and ensuring seamless integration with Sybase databases and IBM MQ systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with a solid understanding of system-level programming, cross-platform compatibility, and middleware/data-layer integration.

Location: Bengaluru
Required Skills:

• 57 years of hands-on development experience in C/C++.
  
  

• Strong experience with system-level programming on Unix/Linux environments.
  
  

• Proven expertise in migrating and debugging legacy C/C++ applications.
  
  

• Solid understanding of endianness and data representation across systems.
  
  

• Experience working with Sybase (T-SQL) and associated connectivity drivers.
  
  

• Experience with IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ) for messaging and integration.
  
  

• Familiarity with Make files, shell scripting (Korn/Bash) and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  
  

• Strong analytical and debugging skills, especially in resolving platform-specific issues.
