Role Overview
Infosys is hiring experienced professionals with strong expertise in C and C++ development and deep domain knowledge in IMS, VoLTE, SIP, and 4G/5G telecom solutions. The role involves building and enhancing high-performance, scalable telecom applications using modern cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance telecom applications using C and C++
- Work on IMS / VoLTE core components, including call processing and signaling
- Develop and enhance features related to SIP protocol and IMS architecture
- Contribute to 4G/5G network solutions, including integration and optimization
- Build and deploy microservices-based applications
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration using Kubernetes
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration, testing, and deployment
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution in production systems
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and quality benchmarks
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in C and C++
- Solid expertise in IMS and VoLTE
- Strong understanding of SIP protocol
- Experience with 4G/5G telecom technologies
- Experience in Microservices architecture
- Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
Good to Have
- Experience working in cloud-native environments
- Exposure to telecom-grade high-availability systems
- Knowledge of performance optimization and scalability
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5–15 years of relevant development experience in telecom domains
