Total 8-10 Years of Experience in areas of BW/HANA and at least 2 years as a Design Lead/Solution Architect
Strong BW/HANA Technical expertise and experience in implementation of at least 2 large Scale BI Implementations
Proven track record in design of BW/HANA Back End Architecture/Design as per defined business Requirements,
In depth Knowledge of SAP BW and HANA Modelling from Extraction, Transformation and Modelling and data Integration. Hands on Experience Required.
Understanding of new capabilities with BW on HANA and BW/4HANA would be preferred .
Experience with Design/Development of solutions using Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud , Tableau or Power BI
Understanding of Middleware Data Services tools like Business Objects Data Services, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, SAP PO etc,
Deep understanding of ABAP backed by at least 1-2 years of prior experience in design/development.
Understanding of at least one of the SAP Functional Modules (like PP, FI, CO, MM, SD, WM, PM, PS) is required.
Exposure of BW integration with BPC, SAP APO/SCM, Informatica/BODS would be preferred
Knowledge of SCRUM or other agile project methodologies
Strong Communication and interpersonal Skills and Team Player
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for Design, Development, Unit-Testing, Documentation, Migration , Data Loads and deployment /Transition of Solutions in areas of BW /HANA as per defined business requirements and Project Timelines/Milestones.
Translate business requirements into Functional/Technical Design Specifications consistent with Best Practices and delivery of sustainable solutions
Work closely with BI Architecture Team and understand Architecture/ Design Principles/guidelines for Design and Build Reviews of the Design Specifications and development as per Architecture/Design Guidelines and Standards
Work closely with BI COE Team for understanding of Requirements, Data Flow Diagrams (High Level Design) and Functional Designs to build BW solutions
Actively Participate in different development Test Cycles by providing support for Defect Resolutions and Cutover /Go Live Support Activities
