Job Title: Buying & Merchandising Executive
Location: Gurgaon (Work from Office)
Working Days: 6 days/week (2nd Saturday off)

Role OverviewWe are hiring a Buying & Merchandising Executive to drive vendor sourcing, product buying, and supplier negotiations across lifestyle categories such as apparel, textiles, jewellery, home decor, and related segments.
This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management, and commercial understanding.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, source, and onboard new vendors/suppliers across categories
- Lead price negotiations, margin discussions, and commercial terms with vendors
- Manage end-to-end buying cycle: product selection, costing, order placement, and follow-ups
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Plan assortment and inventory based on demand and sales trends
- Track market trends, competitor pricing, and product performance
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, catalog, marketing) for product launches and sales
- Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of key SKUs
Must-Have Skills- Experience in Buying / Merchandising / Sourcing / Vendor Management
- Strong negotiation skills (pricing, margins, payment terms)
- Exposure to lifestyle categories (apparel, textile, jewellery, home decor preferred)
- Vendor onboarding and supplier relationship management
- Understanding of costing, margins, and inventory planning
Good-to-Have Skills- Experience in D2C / ecommerce / marketplace setups
- Knowledge of category trends and consumer behavior
- Experience handling multiple vendors / large SKU catalogs
- Basic Excel/data analysis skills
- Background in brands, export houses, or marketplaces
Ideal Candidate Profile- 1–4 years of relevant experience
- Background in Buying, Merchandising, or Sourcing roles
- Strong negotiator with commercial mindset
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
Important Notes- Candidates with only visual merchandising (store display) experience will not be considered
- Must have vendor/supplier interaction exposure
- Preference for candidates with hands-on negotiation or costing experience
