Job Title: NPD Merchandiser (New Product Development)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an NPD Merchandiser to drive end-to-end product developmentfrom identifying trends and market gaps to launching products. The role requires strong research skills, design understanding, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to bring new designs to market.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Insights

Study market trends, competitors, and customer preferences

Identify product gaps and new opportunities

Design Sourcing & Selection

Source designs through vendors, designers, CAD houses, and online platforms

Review vendor catalogs and new collections

Shortlist and present designs based on research insights

Product Development & Coordination

Coordinate with vendors, designers, and CAD teams for design development

Manage CAD creation, iterations, and approvals

Drive end-to-end sample development with strict timeline follow-ups

Execution & Launch

Finalize samples and place orders

Coordinate for photoshoots and ensure timely product launch

Travel & Sourcing

• Attend exhibitions and visit vendors/markets for new design sourcing

Requirements:

15 years of experience in merchandising / NPD / product development

Strong understanding of fashion/jewellery trends

Experience in vendor coordination, sampling, and design development

Good communication and presentation skills

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets

Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

Willingness to travel frequently
