Job Overview

Buyer to review purchase requisitions and purchase orders, resolve supplier/planner queries, create indirect purchase orders, track orders, alert management if find errors in the system, handle vendor inquiries, and provide order documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing industry and a solid understanding of supply chain management concepts.

A Day In The Life

Follow-up on Indirect Orders, Amend Purchase Orders or requisitions in the system as per request, Handle disputes related to Purchase Orders, Support payment release process, Conduct data cleanup activities, Generate reports, Drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Follow up with supplier for order confirmation and confirmation update in PO based on supplier's confirmation
  • Monitor all past due purchase orders and follow-up with suppliers to update current delivery date in the system.
  • Resolve the issue / query based on request from customer/Supplier/Planner
  • Creating indirect PR/PO
  • Inbound delivery creation.
  • Catalog items add / modify in the hub supply portal
  • Monitoring open pending Purchase requisition.
  • Support to the data cleaning process.
  • Maintain the supporting document for all the transactions.
  • Create new various reports and modify the existing report-based on request.
  • Develop strategies for risk mitigation in the supply chain.
  • Maintain relationships and performance of existing suppliers and act as the need arises.
  • Maintain zero backlog.
