We are looking for a Buyer to join the business, working onsite at their facility in Doddaballapur, Bangalore, India. to support procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring the cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.

This hands on role will be responsible for managing suppliers, purchase processes and subcontracting activities, while maintaining quality standards and supporting business operations within a precision engineering environment. are looking for a Buyer

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing purchase orders, delivery schedules and supplier performance
• Procuring raw materials, bought-in items, packaging, tooling and consumables
• Converting purchase requests into purchase orders for non-BOM / indirect items
• Managing subcontracting and job work processes, including material tracking and reconciliation
• Coordinating with local and international suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams
• Monitoring supplier performance across cost, quality and delivery
• Issuing enquiries, obtaining quotations and carrying out commercial analysis
• Working closely with accounts to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Maintaining effective communication with internal departments
• Conducting market research and supplier analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintaining procurement records and ensuring compliance with company policies
• Building and managing supplier relationships and contracts
• Monitoring inventory levels and supporting stock optimisation
• Analysing spend and supporting cost reduction initiatives

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

• Experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management gained within a manufacturing or engineering business
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and procurement processes
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of logistics, GST, HSN codes, invoicing and compliance requirements

Desirable:

• Experience within precision engineering, plastic injection moulding or contract manufacturing
• Knowledge of quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, GD&T)
• Understanding of contract law and vendor agreements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
