We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Executive who is experienced in using freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and similar marketplaces to acquire new projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, bidding on relevant projects, and generating business opportunities related to website design, web development, and digital marketing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and bid on relevant projects on freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, Fiverr, etc.
- Prepare compelling proposals to secure projects in web design, web development, graphic design, and digital marketing.
- Communicate with potential clients to understand their requirements and convert leads into projects.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients and build long-term relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, development, and marketing) to ensure proper project understanding and delivery.
- Track bidding performance, conversion rates, and maintain records of leads and proposals.
- Stay updated with platform policies, trends, and best bidding practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, Guru, etc.
- Excellent written communication skills for preparing effective proposals.
- Understanding of web design, web development, SEO, and digital marketing services.
- Good negotiation and client handling skills.
- Ability to identify high-quality leads and convert them into projects.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Previous experience in IT services sales or freelancing platform bidding.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and lead management.
