Bussiness Development Associate / Academic counsellor

Role & Responsibilities

• Counsel students and working professionals regarding suitable courses and career opportunities.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, understand candidate requirements, and provide relevant course information.
• Convert qualified leads into admissions/enrollments by following up effectively.
• Achieve monthly sales and admission targets.
• Explain course structure, eligibility, fees, career outcomes, and admission process.
• Maintain regular follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp, and email.
• Update candidate details, follow-ups, and sales activities in the CRM.
• Build strong relationships with prospective students and guide them throughout the admission journey.
• Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, payments, and enrollment completion.
• Maintain a high level of customer experience while meeting business targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 6 months–2 years of experience in Inside Sales, Academic Counselling, EdTech Sales, or Telecalling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
• Target-oriented and comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.
• Candidates with experience selling UG/PG, online degrees, professional or upskilling courses will be preferred.
• Freshers with strong communication and sales intent can also be considered.
