Executive Summary
The Supply Chain Transformation Value Architect is a senior advisory role responsible for driving business value through manufacturing and supply chain transformation. This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing leadership to define vision, optimize end‑to‑end processes, and guide technology‑enabled execution.
The role blends manufacturing, planning, and quality process expertise with strong SAP S/4HANA PP/QM understanding, ensuring solutions deliver operational efficiency, quality excellence, agility, and measurable business outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain and Manufacturing leadership, shaping transformation vision, operating model, and value roadmap
- Lead end‑to‑end process design across Planning, Production, Quality, and Shop Floor execution
- Translate business priorities (service levels, cost, throughput, quality, compliance) into clear solution direction and value‑led design principles
- Bridge business and technology, ensuring S/4HANA Manufacturing and Quality capabilities enable business KPIs
- Provide design governance and value oversight across solution design, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement
Ideal Profile
- 8–12+ years in Supply Chain / Manufacturing transformation, consulting, or solution leadership
- Strong domain expertise in Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and Quality Management
- Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA PP/QM as an enabling platform
- Proven ability to operate between business leadership and technology delivery teams
- Experience engaging at Plant Head, Operations Director, or Supply Chain leadership level
- Strong facilitation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Production & Quality training or certification
- Experience with Digital Manufacturing, MES/MII, or shop‑floor integrations
- Exposure to EWM‑integrated manufacturing or warehouse‑driven production
- Industry experience in Automotive, Consumer Goods, or Discrete Manufacturing

This is a Supply Chain Value Architect role, not a configuration‑centric SAP position. Success is measured by manufacturing performance improvement, quality outcomes, adoption, and value realization, with SAP acting as the enabling platform.
