We are currently seeking a Business Value Architect Strategic Director to join our team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Overview: The Business Value Architect supports our most complex, strategic, transformational multi-million dollar pursuits. They think big, out of the box and help shape multi-tower transformations by engaging early and bringing the power of one-NTT to our clients. They help transform, reimagine and reinvent client's businesses leveraging technology and our services.

The Business Value Architect will focus on helping our clients realize business value and achieve their objectives through technology-led business transformation. They will engage directly with CxOs and business leaders to align industry and business priorities with transformational initiatives. As a subject matter expert in a specific industry - such as Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial Industries, Health Plans, Providers, Life Sciences, or the Public Sector - they will leverage both internal and external research to uncover customer strategies, visions, priorities, challenges, and headwinds, and help define technology-led business transformation using NTT DATA services. They will lead vision, transformation, and value assessment consulting sessions with clients, producing points of view, transformation hypotheses, value cases, and business cases through in-depth value chain analysis. The Business Value Architect will collaborate with multidisciplinary pursuit teams and utilize a consultative approach to articulate clear, business-centric problem statements and ensure alignment throughout the engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to gain a deep understanding of the client's business strategy, vision, and objectives.
  • Analyse the client's business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess industry and client-specific trends, headwinds, pain points, value chains, and growth opportunities.
  • Formulate Art of the Possible transformation hypotheses, develop C-suite engagement strategies, executive narratives, and prepare robust investment justifications, value cases, and business cases.
  • Build and maintain a reusable library of repeatable assets, models, and frameworks
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and client business leaders
  • Leverage a consultative approach to deliver compelling business cases and value propositions, clearly articulating the benefits of business and technology modernization and transformation
  • Work collaboratively across multi-solution and cross-functional teams including Sales, Client Executives, Consulting Engagement Leads, Solution/Enterprise Architects, Client Delivery, and Operations to ensure alignment of proposed solutions with customer business objectives and goals
  • Clearly and persuasively communicate business solutions to clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in at all levels

Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience in a management consulting or value engineering or sales operations from a top-tier consulting firm or large IT services provider (or a similar role)
  • 7 years of experience applying methodologies and strategic business analysis to assess financial, strategic, and operational benefits, leveraging these insights to develop value propositions, business cases, and ROI justifications
  • Familiar with technology modernization and transformation concepts, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Experience working in one or more of the following industries: Banking, Financial Services, Insurance Manufacturing, Commercial, or Healthcare industries
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in business value analysis (e.g., CBVAL, Certified ROI Professional) highly preferred
  • MBA (preferred) or equivalent advanced business degree
