Job Description As a Business System Analyst 2, you will have an opportunity to be part of the Platform Delivery team. This team delivers world class marketing technology platforms using Epsilon's market leading PeopleCloud suite of products, which support our clients multi-channel marketing strategies. This role requires you to have both business and technical expertise and will need you to act as a liaison between the client and the technical delivery teams. You will play a key role within the Platform Delivery organization across many disciplines within the Software Development Lifecycle including requirements gathering, documentation, design, and testing.
What you'll do as a Business Systems Analyst 2
Support client data onboarding (multiple vendors/sources) to Epsilon solution Maintain process documents and update them regularly Work with clients and internal Epsilon teams to understand, define, and completely document business and/or campaign requirements
using standard templates Understand system high level designs and map business/campaign requirements to functional and non-functional components of the
solution. Analyze data quality to identify trend, issues and recommend changes as required. Create, support, troubleshoot, and deliver on client requests in support of the day-to-day marketing operation Support the functional testing effort of database enhancements and to ensure accurate on-time delivery Have effective client meetings, understand deliverables, and drive successful outcomes Support the team to improve delivery quality, repeatability, and on-time delivery Help in adapting best practices, standards and methodologies around business analysis and data analysis
Qualifications Core Skills:
2+ years of experience in BA Role - IT industry Understanding of Requirements articulation to user stories, BRD, FSD, documentation and acceptance criteria Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies Understanding of Data Models, data warehouses and data dictionaries Understanding of Databases and SQL Concepts
Soft Skills:
Able to clearly communicate and articulate ideas, both written and verbally Able to develop and maintain relationships within the organization globally Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced and often changing environment Able to use problem-solving skills in order to move toward a project's successful completion Demonstrates time management skills Adaptable to Hybrid Work Model
Nice to have:
Knowledge of the CRM and Loyalty concepts Basic understanding of marketing CRM, digital marketing, or marketing concepts Exposure to marketing campaign tools (Unica, Adobe, Eloqua, Marketo, Responsys, Zeta, etc.), and ability to learn new campaign
platforms. Exposure to data warehousing, data lake, and data mart concepts Exposure to real-time, API, HTML, or web technologies
