We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst to join our client in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing business processes and translating them into functional requirements for technical teams. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with both business stakeholders and IT professionals.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop and document functional specifications and business processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management to communicate findings and recommendations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5-15 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Experience with business process modeling and documentation.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
