Amazon India is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join the Abuse Prevention vertical of the India Returns team. This high-impact team is focused on identifying and eliminating fraudulent or abusive return behaviors, directly influencing the business's profitability and customer trust.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting Product Managers and Business Intelligence Engineers with data-driven insights for critical initiatives. This role offers a dynamic environment where you'll work on complex problems, automate reporting processes, and help drive decisions through analytics and visualization.

Duration : 6 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage data pipelines and structures in Redshift, ensuring efficient data transformation and loading processes.
  • Own the production and automation of dashboards and analytics reports used for decision-making by cross-functional teams.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into optimized formats for reporting and analysis.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in data workflows and reports to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product, Ops, and Tech teams to gather requirements, provide insights, and drive alignment on reporting needs.
  • Publish automated, high-quality dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1+ years of experience working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business analytics or BI role.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing, SQL, and reporting automation.
  • Proficiency in dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or Power Pivot.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, VBScript, Perl, or Ruby).
  • Familiarity with database migration and administration is a plus.
  • Ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights and drive process improvements.
