About this Role
We are seeking a Business Solution Architect to join the Corporate Functions Service Tower (CFST), supporting Finance, HR, Data Analytics and Security functions across a global organisation. This role is instrumental in shaping scalable business solutions, evolving architecture frameworks, and driving platform adoption to deliver measurable business value and exceptional customer experiences.
The successful candidate will partner with business and technology stakeholders to design, optimise and implement innovative solutions, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, automation and enterprise platforms. They will contribute to architecture strategy, governance and transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, reusable, cost-efficient and aligned to organisational objectives.

What you will do
Service & Solution Design
- Contribute to shaping Corporate Functions solution strategy by defining advanced, scalable solutions for business services and customers.
- Design end-to-end business solutions that maximise reuse, improve cost efficiency and utilise emerging technologies including AI and automation.
- Own the solution design lifecycle from ideation and concept development through to architecture definition and scalable implementation.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams to ensure solutions are practical, user-focused and sustainable.
- Ensure all solutions align with established architectural principles, governance standards and guardrails.
- Define operational readiness requirements, scalability considerations and success measures for solution implementations.
- Support leadership reporting through regular updates on progress, outcomes and value delivery.
Service Architecture
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Corporate Functions architecture strategy.
- Support the definition and maintenance of architecture frameworks, standards, governance models and principles.
- Identify architecture gaps and support initiatives designed to address strategic transformation priorities.
- Promote standardisation, consistency and reuse across platforms, services and processes.
- Support the design of future-state architectures that drive enhanced user experiences and business outcomes.
Platform Adoption
- Analyse platform adoption metrics and identify high-impact opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
- Support initiatives that enhance standardisation, automation, efficiency and customer experience.
- Contribute to governance activities that improve platform utilisation and business value realisation.
- Prepare data-driven updates and recommendations for senior leadership forums.
General Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deliver and optimise solutions and services.
- Support the scaling of architecture capabilities and solutions beyond Corporate Functions.
- Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends and customer priorities, providing recommendations and insights.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Supply Chain Management, IT and external technology partners such as SAP.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and architecture excellence.
- Ensure solution recommendations are supported by strong architectural, governance and business considerations.
Who you are
- Proven experience delivering business and solution architecture across multiple business domains, ideally within large telecommunications or technology-driven organisations.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, systems and service delivery models across Finance, HR and Supply Chain Management environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
- Experience working in customer-facing consultancy or advisory roles, presenting strategic recommendations and delivering value-led outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Business Analysis, Design Thinking, Requirements Engineering and user journey design.
- Experience producing architecture artefacts including wireframes, workflows, integration designs and user experience flows.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend technology solutions aligned to business needs and strategic objectives.
- Passion for delivering scalable, automated, reusable and customer-centric solutions.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive and comfortable operating within complex, multi-project environments.
- Experience working within agile delivery models and supporting teams through transformation initiatives.
Technical and Professional Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise technology environments, including ERP platforms, Data & Analytics solutions, RPA technologies, AI capabilities and Microsoft platforms.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience supporting transformation, digitalisation or innovation-focused programmes.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in business solution architecture, service architecture or enterprise transformation disciplines.
