Join Swiss Re's CorSo Central Operations APAC team and play a pivotal role in keeping our regional operations accurate, compliant, and continuously improving.
About the Role

As a Business Services Associate, you will be at the heart of our Direct/Primary insurance operations across the Asia & Pacific region. You'll serve as the critical link between Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and our outsourced partners - ensuring that insurance policy processing, regulatory reporting, and data quality standards are met with precision and consistency. This is a role where your analytical mindset and operational expertise will directly contribute to Swiss Re's mission of making the world more resilient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Single Point of Contact for all internal and external stakeholders on reporting requirements related to regional regulatory adherence across Asia & Pacific

  • Run and submit regulatory reports by understanding data sources across various systems, ensuring strict adherence to defined timelines

  • Perform rigorous quality checks to validate data accuracy and report integrity before submission to regulators and third parties

  • Conduct data analysis and communicate findings clearly to relevant stakeholders to support informed decision-making

  • Identify deviations and errors, follow through on corrective actions, and drive resolution with the appropriate teams

  • Support audit activities by preparing and organizing requested information for internal and external auditors

  • Prepare and review periodic operational and compliance reports, including dashboards, trackers, and management information packs

  • Support stakeholders with data extraction, reconciliation, and analysis to enable accurate and timely business insights

  • Collaborate with Underwriting Assistants and MGA Managers to design and implement effective and efficient operational processes

  • Support UAT planning and execution as well as regional and global project deployments

  • Facilitate training and access management to ensure teams are equipped and compliant

  • Support the yearly Business Continuity exercise and respond to ad hoc reporting requirements as they arise

About the Team

You'll be joining the CorSo Central Operations APAC team - a dynamic group sitting at the core of Swiss Re's Direct/Primary insurance operations across the Asia & Pacific region. As part of one of the world's leading providers of reinsurance and insurance-based risk transfer, our team plays a vital role in anticipating and managing a wide variety of risks - from natural catastrophes and climate change to cybercrime. We combine deep operational expertise with creative thinking and a pioneering spirit to deliver solutions that make a real difference for our clients and the world. You'll work in a collaborative, cross-cultural environment where your contributions truly matter.

About You

You are a proactive and analytically minded professional who brings a strong sense of ownership and accountability to everything you do. You communicate with confidence across cultures and functions, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes. You take pride in accuracy, enjoy solving complex operational challenges, and are motivated by continuous improvement. You bring a customer-first mindset and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in (re)insurance operations, with a solid understanding of insurance and reinsurance policy administration

  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with demonstrated ability to extract, reconcile, and interpret data from multiple systems

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and/or database tools (e.g., Access DB), with working knowledge of data analytics tools such as Python, R, or equivalent

  • Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration or an equivalent qualification

  • Strong operational oversight capabilities, including experience with compliance reporting, quality assurance, and regulatory submissions

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Experience working with outsourced operational partners (e.g., BPO environments such as Genpact)

  • Familiarity with UAT processes and participation in system or project deployments

  • Exposure to regional regulatory frameworks across Asia & Pacific markets

  • Experience preparing management information, dashboards, and audit-ready documentation

  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills - both verbal and written - with the ability to engage confidently with diverse, global stakeholders

  • Demonstrated agility and flexibility when managing competing priorities and evolving business needs

  • Experience supporting Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercise

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
