The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring and managing Business Banking customers, driving Business Loan sales, and building long-term relationships with MSME and SME clients. The role focuses on sourcing new business opportunities, analyzing customer financial requirements, and delivering customized lending solutions while ensuring portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

Acquire new MSME/SME customers for Business Loan products.
Generate leads through market mapping, referrals, cold calling, and networking activities.
Understand customer business requirements and recommend suitable loan solutions.
Drive sales of Business Loans, Working Capital, Overdraft, Term Loans, LAP, and other business banking products.
Conduct financial analysis of customer businesses and gather required documentation.
Coordinate with Credit, Operations, and Risk teams for smooth loan processing and disbursement.
Manage and deepen relationships with existing customers to increase wallet share.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
Ensure portfolio health, compliance, and adherence to bank policies.
Cross-sell CASA, Trade, Insurance, and other business banking products.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
2-8 years of experience in Business Banking, SME Banking, Business Loans, LAP, or Working Capital sales.
Strong knowledge of financial statements, credit assessment, and lending products.
Proven track record in sales and customer acquisition.
Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Local market and industry knowledge preferred.
