Job Description

The Business Process Consulting role is integral to Zensar's delivery of business strategies for banking clients. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful adoption of change initiatives by accurately eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements. Your holistic approach will cover the necessary changes across systems, people, and processes, ensuring a seamless transition. A strong understanding of CRM processes is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill the Business Analyst role on various change projects, managing multiple streams of work.
  • Understand and document existing business processes, proposing improvements where necessary.
  • Produce high-quality project documentation, including requirements documents and customer journey maps.
  • Ensure effective requirements engineering, maintaining full traceability to solution design and test scope.
  • Apply a range of business analysis tools and techniques, adapting approaches as needed.
  • Manage stakeholders at all levels, from senior management to technology teams.
  • Prioritize requirements and manage the backlog of work items in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Create business process maps to optimize procedures and new processes.
  • Map customer journeys to identify the full impact of changes on external customers.
  • Conduct risk analysis for individual projects and the overall change portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 7-12 years of business analysis experience, preferably in the Payments domain.
  • Solid understanding of UK domestic payments (FP, CHAPS, BACS) and SEPA/SWIFT payments.
  • Experience working with global banking clients across various geographies.
  • Proficiency in business analysis principles, methods, and tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex processes and identify improvement areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Elicit, document, and manage business requirements effectively.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving to address diverse business challenges.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • CBAP or BCS certification in business analysis is preferred.
