We are looking for a Business Process Architecture Manager for establishing, governing, and optimizing enterprise-wide process architecture frameworks across business and operational domains. The role requires strong expertise in operational process mapping, process engineering, workflow optimization, and business transformation within Wealth Management, Asset Management, and Capital Markets environments.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business, operations, product, and technology stakeholders to analyze current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design scalable future-state operating models that drive operational excellence, process standardization, and automation opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and govern enterprise-wide process architecture frameworks and process governance models across operational and business domains
- Facilitate discovery workshops with business, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to document, analyze, and optimize operational workflows and procedures
- Document current-state (As-Is) business processes and identify operational inefficiencies, process bottlenecks, manual dependencies, and fragmented workflows
- Design and implement future-state (To-Be) process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and business outcomes
- Lead process engineering and workflow optimization initiatives across operational and business functions
- Translate manual operational activities, legacy workarounds, and fragmented workflows into structured business requirements, user stories, and automation opportunities
- Define and support governance of business analysis and process engineering standards, methodologies, and best practices
- Drive operational process mapping and transformation initiatives across functions including:
- Client onboarding and account opening
- Trading operations and trade lifecycle management
- Reconciliation and settlement
- Regulatory and management reporting
- Investment servicing and operational support function
- Collaborate closely with business, operations, product, and technology teams to drive process standardization, operational scalability, and continuous improvement
- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation, digitization, and operational transformation
- Ensure process documentation, controls, and governance frameworks are aligned with organizational objectives and compliance requirements
- Support enterprise transformation programs by aligning business process improvements with strategic goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in business process architecture, process engineering, business analysis, or operational transformation roles
- Strong experience within Wealth Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Financial Services operational environments
- Proven expertise in documenting As-Is / To-Be process models, process re-engineering, workflow optimization, and operational transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of operational workflows across onboarding, trading operations, reconciliation, settlements, reporting, and investment servicing functions
- Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, requirements elicitation sessions, and operational discovery exercises
- Demonstrated experience translating manual processes, operational inefficiencies, and legacy workflows into structured business requirements and automation opportunities
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, process governance frameworks, and process engineering best practices
- Experience working collaboratively with business, operations, product, and technology teams in enterprise-scale transformation initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and presentation skill
- Experience with process mapping and modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Signavio, ARIS, or similar) is preferred
- Professional certifications in Business Analysis, Process Management, Lean Six Sigma, or BPM are considered an advantage
