Role Description The Business Partner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Business Partner will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, recruiting, and developing a network of advisors, partners, or distribution channels. This role involves setting and monitoring sales targets, supporting partners with product training, and ensuring adherence to company processes and compliance guidelines. The Business Partner will engage with customers and intermediaries to understand their protection and investment needs, recommend suitable solutions, and enhance the overall customer experience. Day-to-day activities include planning and executing local sales campaigns, tracking performance metrics, coordinating with internal teams for support, and preparing regular reports on business performance. The role also includes mentoring and coaching partners to improve productivity and sustain long-term collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and sustain a high-performing partner or advisor network.
  • Proficiency in communication, presentation, and negotiation, with the capacity to explain life insurance products and solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and use basic MS Office or similar tools for reporting and planning.
  • Experience in financial services or insurance, and familiarity with life insurance products, regulatory norms, and customer-centric selling practices (prior life insurance experience is an advantage).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or financial planning are a plus.
  • Demonstrated capability to work on-site, manage field activities in Ahmedabad, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
  • Strong ethical standards, customer-first mindset, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
