About ORNAZ

ORNAZ is a fast-growing premium diamond jewellery brand specialising in engagement rings and fine jewellery. As we scale both online and retail operations, we are hiring a Business Operations Manager to streamline daily execution and ensure smooth coordination across departments.

Role Purpose

This role will act as the central coordination point across Accounts processes, HR administration, Production tracking, and Store operations. The objective is to ensure timelines are met, communication is clear, and day-to-day operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Coordination

Prepare daily/weekly vendor payment sheets for approval

Track invoices, vendor balances, and due payments

Coordinate with CA for payroll processing, GST, and compliance documentation

Maintain expense and cashflow trackers

2. Production & Order Operations (Jewellery-specific)

Maintain order-wise production tracker

Follow up with CAD team, vendors, and job workers on timelines

Monitor repair schedules and delivery commitments

Coordinate between sales team, store, and production for promised dates

3. HR & Admin Processes

Manage attendance, leave records, and employee database

Handle joining documentation and exit formalities

Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring follow-ups

Respond to routine employee queries related to salary processing, PF, and policies (with Accounts/CA support)

4. Cross-Team Coordination & Reporting

Ensure smooth communication between online sales, store team, and production

Highlight risks, delays, or operational issues proactively

Share a daily execution update/report with founders

Candidate Profile

37 years experience in operations/admin/coordination roles

Background in jewellery, retail, manufacturing, or D2C startup preferred

Strong Excel skills and follow-up discipline

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led environment
