The Lifecycle Collaboration Software (LCS) organization is responsible for best-in-class products such as Teamcenter, Capital, and Polarion. As part of our Business Operations team, you'll have the opportunity to combine the disciplines of analytics, finance, data science, and business strategy to influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.
We're looking for a unique individual who is equally excited by understanding business performance and financial outcomes as they are by building analytical models, automating processes, uncovering insights, and leveraging AI and advanced analytics to solve complex problems. You will work closely with internal business line leaders and operational teams, as well as finance and sales business partners to transform data into actionable insights that drive growth, profitability, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering data-driven business insights by analyzing quality, financial, and sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that drive performance improvement
- Automating reporting and KPI visibility leveraging various dashboards and reports to provide timely, actionable business insights
- Conducting financial performance analysis by investigating variances between planned and actual results and presenting recommendations to management
- Translating complex data into business actions by communicating financial and analytical findings to both finance and non-finance stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner
- Partnering with cross-functional teams and strategic planning efforts to provide analytical support, address data needs, and contribute to annual and long-term business planning
- Partner with business leaders to understand operational performance and connect business activities to financial outcomes
Qualifications
- Relevant professional experience with 5+ years in data analytics, finance, business intelligence, data engineering, data science, or a related analytical function
- Strong academic foundation with a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative discipline
- Experience working with large datasets and translating quantitative insights into business recommendations
- Advanced analytical and financial expertise with a solid understanding of financial principles, data analysis, and business performance management
- Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders and influence decisions through data and analysis.
- Technical proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to use data and financial analysis to address complex business challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience presenting insights and working effectively across functions and stakeholder groups
- Advanced knowledge of English; both verbal and written
