The Lam Global Supply Chain Operations team plays a critical role in enabling efficient, scalable, and compliant end-to-end supply chain processes across the organization. The team is responsible for managing supplier onboarding, master data governance, procurement support, and ensuring seamless integration across systems such as SAP and digital platforms. By driving data quality, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives, the team supports operational excellence, risk mitigation, and successful execution of global supply chain strategies.The team continuously develops the required technical skills and business acumen to help solve complex business problems & Use Cases in the semiconductor, manufacturing, and supply chain domains for the company.
The impact you'll make
Join Lam as a Business Operations Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA systems, with strong proficiency in Material and Vendor Master Data management with expertise in data analysis, data profiling, and data visualization to drive data quality and business insights. Exposure to digital transformation initiatives is considered an added advantage.
What You'll Do
Primary Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in master data management activities for Material & Vendor Master Data.
- Strong understanding of the data governance rules & exposure to data analytics.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the consistent, secure, and accurate use of data across the organization.
- Conduct regular data audits and assessments to identify data quality issues, data inconsistencies, and potential risks, and develop remediation plans to address these issues.
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on data governance best practices, processes, and tools, and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to data governance, and ensure the organization's data governance framework remains up-to-date and compliant.
- Handled escalated customer issues effectively, resolving problems swiftly while preserving positive relationships
- Improved service quality, addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support the enterprise in migrating from existing (and different) data sources like SharePoint, Excel, etc. to a Data Governance tool
- Support in implementing a Workflow management system to optimize, improve, and automate the Data Governance workflows for the data stewards to increase output, eliminate repetition, and reduce errors
- Implement the means to track, investigate and correct data quality issues in a Data Governance tool and support in setting up data quality rules for data validation and standardization
- Closely working with stakeholders to gather their requirements & provide the solutions
- Coordinated with multiple departments to ensure seamless service delivery across all touchpoints
- Established a culture of continuous improvement & to share ideas for process enhancements
- De-duplication, cleansing, harmonization, standardization of data periodically
- To create/manage/distribute scorecards, pre-determined reports, and adhoc reports which will enable management, at the operational, tactical and strategic levels, to take business decisions.
- Identify opportunities for Process Improvements/Best Practices/Lessons Learned to strengthen data accuracy and/or enhance efficiency/productivity
- Prepare Process documents/training materials to conduct training of different business users across the globe regarding MDM processes.
Who We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree or MBA in Operations
- Strong Knowledge SAP ECC or S/4 Production Planning processes and experience in Manufacturing domain
- Good understanding of Supply Chain Operations
- Good experience on various Six Sigma methodologies
- Knowledge in performing Root cause analysis and Corrective actions.
- Data migration, validations & Testing support for SIT and UAT.
- Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills, able to communicate cross-functionally.
- Good understanding of Master Data Management Processes like Material/Product, Vendor & Customer Master
Preferred Qualifications
Six Sigma certified professional with proven ability to apply data-driven methodologies for process optimization, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
