Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a sharp, business-savvy, and execution-oriented Business Manager to lead and scale our client's International Market operations, with a specific focus on the USA and Middle East. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing eCommerce businesses (D2C & marketplaces) in the beauty/personal care category, coupled with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, the digital ecosystem, and brand building.
Key Responsibilities
Business Ownership:
- Own the P&L for the USA/Middle East market, encompassing revenue, margins, and growth targets.
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy specifically tailored for the respective consumer demographics.
eCommerce & Marketplace Management:
- Manage and grow D2C channels (Shopify/Brand Website), online marketplaces, and overall GTM for respective geographies.
- Ensure seamless cataloging, pricing, listing optimization, and SEO performance.
Marketing & Growth:
- Partner with performance marketing teams to plan and execute impactful campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.
- Drive influencer and affiliate collaborations specifically targeted at respective demographics.
- Leverage CRM, retargeting, and loyalty programs to significantly improve repeat purchases.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product, Operations, Design, and Customer Service teams to localize offerings and enhance the customer experience.
- Coordinate with logistics & 3PL partners for smooth international fulfillment.
Consumer Insights & Trends:
- Monitor the competitive landscape, consumer preferences, and category trends.
- Utilize data and insights to improve product-market fit and campaign effectiveness.
Compliance & Regulatory:
- Ensure product, packaging, and marketing claims fully comply with FDA & US regulatory standards.
- Work with legal consultants for trademark/IP/labeling guidelines.
- Experienced in launching new brands across international markets, including the USA and Middle East.
- Proficient in end-to-end brand rollout—from market research and positioning to sourcing, procurement, and execution.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, marketing, and vendor partners to ensure timely go-to-market delivery.
- Adept at navigating regional compliance and operational challenges to establish an impactful brand presence.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in managing international D2C businesses, with 2-3+ years focused on the USA market.
- Experience in color cosmetics, skincare, or personal care categories is essential.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a growth mindset.
- Proficiency in eCommerce tools (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, GA4, Klaviyo, etc.).
- Understanding of cross-border logistics, customs, and local fulfillment models.
- Ability to think both strategically and execute hands-on.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to brand collaborations or partnerships with U.S.-based influencers or retailers.
- Experience with subscription or bundle-based D2C models.
- Knowledge of U.S. beauty regulations and compliance standards.
