Business Manager- Interior Design

Role Description The Business Manager – Interior Design will oversee end-to-end business operations, project pipelines, and client relationships for interior design projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves coordinating between design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The Business Manager will manage lead generation, client consultations, and contract negotiations, while monitoring financial performance and resource utilization. Daily responsibilities include tracking project progress, resolving operational issues, guiding teams on priorities, and supporting strategic initiatives to grow the business and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong business management skills, including project coordination, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Experience in client relationship management, negotiations, and customer service within design, construction, or related industries.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with design, procurement, and execution teams, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
• Knowledge of interior design processes, materials, and finishes; prior work with residential or commercial interiors is an advantage.
• Proficiency in using project management tools, spreadsheets, and basic business reporting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and documentation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
