As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of your portfolio. The role demands a sharp eye for diagnosing underperformance — identifying where sellers (emerging D2C brands) are dropping off, what's driving it, and what needs to change. You will own both the thinking and the doing: building strategies to correct course and leading your team through execution.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Own operational growth initiatives by analyzing performance bottlenecks, improving execution processes, and driving scalable outcomes across merchant portfolios.
- Analyze business performance, client profitability metrics, and market trends to recommend actionable strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with product, operations, sales, and marketing teams to execute strategic projects.
- Build business cases, dashboards, and reports for leadership decision-making.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Support new product launches, GTM strategies, and strategic partnerships.
Experience & Background
- 1–4 years of experience in Management Consulting / E-commerce / Startup Strategy / Business Operations.
- Prior experience with companies in D2C, marketplace, or e-commerce enablement is highly preferred.
- Tier-1 Pedigree [Top IIT, NIT, BITS]
