Business Manager

Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Business Manager role based in Rajkot, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. The Business Manager will oversee day-to-day business operations, including sales planning, pipeline management, and coordination with Thermax and other stakeholders. The role involves monitoring financial performance, preparing reports, managing budgets, and supporting pricing and contract negotiations. The Business Manager will lead and guide cross-functional teams, align service delivery with customer expectations, and support process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability. Daily activities also include client relationship management, reviewing project status, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business management, operations management, or a similar leadership role in industrial, engineering, or HVAC-related services.
• Strong skills in sales planning, account management, and customer relationship management, with the ability to grow and retain key clients.
• Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present information clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience managing or coordinating hybrid teams and comfort with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., CRM systems, spreadsheets, online communication platforms).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is an advantage.
• Familiarity with energy, cooling, heating, or industrial equipment sectors, or strong motivation to learn these domains.
• Ability to work primarily from the Rajkot office with some flexibility for remote work, and readiness to travel to client sites when required.
