About the Role
The Senior Specialist supports the BMO Leader in driving disciplined execution across site performance reporting, work transitions, process improvement, selective automation, and value tracking. This role is hands on, and execution focused, helping translate priorities into clear data, smooth transitions, and measurable efficiency outcomes, while enabling leadership visibility and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Performance Reporting, MIS & Insights
- Outcome: Reliable performance visibility and decision-ready insights
- Support site-level and function-level SLA and performance reporting
- Prepare dashboards, scorecards, and executive summaries for leadership forums
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data across reporting cycles
- Track trends related to delivery, productivity, efficiency, and operational risk
- Support root-cause analysis and follow-up on corrective actions
- Transition & Work Transfer Support
- Outcome: Low-friction, compliant, and repeatable work transitions
- Support execution of work transitions using the site's transition approach
- Coordinate documentation, readiness tracking, and stabilization activities
- Partner with global and local teams on demand intake and transition milestones
- Maintain trackers and provide regular status updates for leadership visibility
- Help reduce ambiguity and transition-related risks for stakeholders
- Process Improvement & Efficiency Enablement
- Outcome: Simplified processes and improved operational efficiency
- Support process discovery, documentation, and improvement initiatives
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for simplification across site operations
- Partner with Business and Operations teams to enable process improvements
- Support standardization and adoption of improved ways of working
- Automation & Innovation Enablement
- Outcome: Reduced manual effort and scalable efficiency gains
- Support identification of selective automation opportunities aligned to business priorities
- Partner with Technology and Business teams to enable pilots and enhancements
- Track progress, outcomes, and learnings from automation and efficiency initiatives
- Support deployment and adoption of successful improvements
- Value Tracking & Governance Support
- Outcome: Measurable business impact, not just activity
- Track value realization metrics such as cost, capacity, cycle time, and quality
- Maintain value and benefit trackers for innovation and efficiency initiatives
- Support governance reviews with accurate data and clear status updates
- Provide structured inputs to leadership and BMO governance forums
Qualifications
- 6–9 years of overall professional experience in operations, MIS, analytics, PMO, transformation, or business operations roles
- 3–5 years of relevant experience supporting performance reporting, transitions, process improvement, or efficiency initiatives
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience creating dashboards and executive-ready material
- Exposure to global or multi-location delivery environments
- Ability to coordinate across Business, Technology, Finance, and Operations teams
- Strong attention to detail and execution discipline
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Structured problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation
