Business Intelligence Specialist

A hands-on QA Engineer with 6 years of experience focused on data validation and testing of database objects across Snowflake, SQL Server, and Oracle. Write clear, maintainable SQL queries for validation, profiling, and troubleshooting data issues.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for data pipelines and DB changes.
Snowflake - SQL dialect, tasks/streams, cloning and Time Travel (nice-to-have).Define data quality rules (completeness, accuracy, uniqueness,) and associated test logic.
Execute performance/regression checks for critical queries and ETL jobs flag regressions due to schema or logic updates.
Work with data engineers, analysts, and product owners to clarify mappings and acceptance criteria.
Mentor junior QA/data testers, review their test designs and help build reusable test utilities.
Perform source-to-target validation for batch and ELT processes, including record-level reconciliation, aggregates, and checksum/hash comparisons.
