Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior BI Engineer who can independently engage with business stakeholders, understand ambiguous business problems, translate them into analytical and AI-driven solutions, and design/build intelligent AI agents that automate decision-making workflows.

This role requires a rare combination of:

• Strong BI engineering expertise
• Business consulting mindset
• AI/LLM agent development capability
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills

The ideal candidate should be comfortable moving from business discussion $B*(J problem framing $B*(J data design $B*(J AI agent implementation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Stakeholder Engagement

• Directly interact with business leaders, product owners, and functional teams.
• Gather unclear or high-level business requirements and convert them into actionable technical use cases.
• Identify opportunities where AI agents can automate repetitive decision workflows.

2. BI Solution Architecture

• Design scalable BI data models, semantic layers, dashboards, and self-service reporting solutions.
• Build advanced KPI frameworks and decision intelligence dashboards.
• Translate raw business problems into measurable data metrics.

3. AI Agent Development

• Design and build AI agents capable of:
• Querying structured enterprise data
• Answering business questions conversationally
• Automating analytical insights generation
• Triggering business workflows
• Build agentic workflows using LLM frameworks.

Examples:

• Sales performance insight agents
• Executive reporting copilots
• Revenue anomaly detection agents
• Conversational BI assistants

4. Data Engineering + Integration

• Connect AI agents with:
• Data warehouses
• BI platforms
• APIs
• Business applications
• Build retrieval pipelines (RAG if needed) for enterprise knowledge access.

5. Advanced Analytics Problem Solving

• Convert business ambiguity into AI use cases.
• Recommend when to use dashboards vs copilots vs autonomous agents.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with:
• Business teams
• Product managers
• Data engineers
• AI/ML engineers
• Leadership teams

Mandatory Technical Skills

BI Expertise:

• Power BI / Tableau / Looker / QuickSight
• SQL advanced querying and optimization
• Data modeling (star schema, semantic models)
• KPI framework design
