Job Description
Primary Tool & Expertise:MicroStrategy
- Advanced experience in BI Reporting design and development.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle and provide expertise in MicroStrategy development.
- As a MicroStrategy Developer, lead BI design and development activities, identify risks and recommend risk mitigation plans.
- Worked on complex Report Development, Attribute, Facts, Metrics Creation, Filters, Prompts, etc.
- Experience with MicroStrategy version 10.x development solutions. Understand technical specifications and create report design documents.
- Demonstrated experience with translating business requirements into data analysis and reporting solutions.
- Must have strong SQL and RDBMS skills.
- Review designs, code and testing with the product team as appropriate.
- Develop logical and physical data models that document source data from multiple sources.
- MicroStrategy Certified Developer is a plus.
- Experience in MicroStrategy SDK or Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate is a plus.
- Sound understanding of the MicroStrategy reporting tool capabilities Object Manager, Command Manager, MicroStrategy Developer, I-server, etc.
- Knowledge of IBI WebFocus reporting tool is a added advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibility:
- Build / Develop optimized semantic models , metrics and complex reports and dashboards
- Work closely with the business analysts / BI teams to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics and customer experience
- Responsible for timely, quality, and successful deliveries
- Sharing knowledge and experience within the team / other groups in the org
- Lead team of BI engineers translate designed solutions to them, review their work, and provide guidance.
- Manage client communications and deliverables
