Summary:
We are looking for a Data Scientist to lead the research and thought leadership to drive our data and insights strategy for Company. This role is central in shaping the definition and execution of the long-term strategy for Company.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with business and software teams to understand their business requirements and operational processes.
- Frame business problems into scalable solutions.
- Adapt existing and invent new techniques for solutions.
- Gather data required for analysis and model building.
- Create and track accuracy and performance metrics.
- Prototype models using high-level modeling languages such as R or software languages such as Python.
- Create, enhance, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
- 2 years of data scientist experience.
- 2 years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and parameters that affect their performance.
- Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.
- Any Graduate.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language.
- Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology company.
- Experience with deep learning models and NLP methods highly preferred.
