Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
- Perform advanced calculations, parameter-driven filters, and custom visualizations using Tableau.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve and prepare datasets for visualization.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data stories.
- Maintain and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across dashboards.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and data extracts for various business teams as needed.
- Monitor and maintain published dashboards, troubleshooting data or performance issues.
Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Desktop & Server
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, etc.)
- Experience working with large datasets and complex data models
- Familiarity with other BI tools is a plus (e.g., Power BI, Looker)
- Experience with Amplitude is a bonus, but not mandatory
